Kieran Pathak-Mould is a textile designer specialising in knitted and embellished textiles, often combing the two together. Kieran is a De Montfort university graduate, with a BA (Hons) in Textile Design.
Kieran has a keen interest in bold and effective knit structures and is a colour enthusiast. His work is often vibrant, displaying interesting colour combinations and a wide variety of techniques. Kieran enjoys incorporating embellishments, in the form of beads and sequins into his knitted structures, exploring new ways of securing embellishments into the structure of the knit, not exclusively using needle and thread.
With high capabilities on both domestic and Dubied knitting machines and a basic understanding of hand knitting, Kieran is able to create high quality fabric swatches intended for knitwear purposes.
